SCHOOL CLOTHING

The Governors have a school uniform policy and the children are encouraged to wear a royal blue uniform. Mufti days (when children pay to attend in non-uniform) take place regularly. The money is a contribution to the school funds or for charity at certain times of the year.

GIRLS

• Summer: Royal blue and white checked dress. (winter uniform may still be worn if preferred)
• Winter: Grey pinafore, skirt or trousers, royal blue polo shirt, royal blue sweatshirt/cardigan.

BOYS

• Summer: Grey trousers or shorts, royal blue polo shirt.
• Winter: Grey trousers, royal blue polo shirt, royal blue sweatshirt.
• Sensible shoes (not trainers) should be worn.
• Sweatshirts, Polo shirts and T-shirts with the school logo can be purchased from a local supplier in Garstang. (see the above link) Other optional extras include caps and fleeces.

Non branded and logo uniform can be purchased at local supermarkets in the area.
P.E.

Boys: Black shorts and white/royal blue T-shirt. No black-soled footwear for P.E. in the hall,
trainers/football boots as appropriate for outdoor games. Swimwear & towel. Warm outdoor clothing for
winter, as required.
Girls: As above except black cycle shorts/leotards may be worn. Girls must wear a swimming cap for
swimming lessons.
All P.E. clothing must be in a bag, and all items of clothing, including uniform must be clearly labelled.
Ear studs are permitted in school but must be removed for all dangerous activities, i.e. P.E., swimming.
Other forms of jewellery are not permitted.
